The Glenbard East Orchestra is heading for 5 days to New York and Philadelphia on Wednesday, February 24th. Follow along with them on Mr. Fawkes' blog , which will include daily updates and pictures. This will be an exciting trip, with lots of great opportunities for orchestra students. See what's happening!
The latest edition of the Glenbard East Music Boosters newsletter is available for download here.
The Glenbard East Music Boosters have three fundraising opportunities to announce this month. February is Market Day month, which always means good food, but only comes twice a year. There are also two new fundraisers which will be more permanent: bumper stickers, which can be purchased at any of the concerts, and the exciting new scrip program. Links to details on all three can be found on our Fundraisers page.
The combined Family Activity Pass for 2009-2010 can be downloaded and printed here. A membership permits entrance to most home athletic events and many music events at all Glenbard District 87 schools. You can choose from multiple levels of support for a plan that fits your interest and budget. We encourage everyone to support our music and athletic students.
Mobile alerts on your cellphone are a new way to stay informed about upcoming events in the Glenbard East music department, like concert dates, cancelled rehearsals, booster meetings and fundraisers. A quick test will tell whether or not your phone carrier is set up to receive these messages. You may subscribe to multiple lists (e.g. band, choir and general), and you can unsubscribe at any time. Reminders will always be concise and shorter than a Tweet.
You can also be notified whenever a new announcement is posted on our home page by clicking the icon for Yahoo! mobile alerts. We hope you will be kept better informed and up-to-date with these new tools.
